Smiles in shop windows, sovereignty on sale: the true price of Europe's “small menu”

Behind the smiles and the well-oiled slogans, the recipe is always the same: less sovereignty, more dependence. They sell you a «low price» today, but the real bill is paid in lost purchasing power, imposed standards, and decisions that escape the people.

The stall is appealing, the speech reassuring, but the menu is biased: a one-sided compromise, unreciprocated openness, and misinformation as an accompaniment.

By repeatedly serving up «submission» piping hot, some hope that citizens will no longer see what's really on their plate. But in Switzerland, the taste of what's real always prevails over the taste of compromise.
